From El Salvador to Berlin: ITProject41's footprint at GITEX Europe 2026

From Barcelona to Berlin

At GITEX Europe 2026, ITProject41 stopped presenting itself as a vendor and started presenting itself as a delivery partner. We arrived in Berlin with a clear message: technology made in El Salvador, delivered for Europe.

In March, at MWC Barcelona and 4YFN, we learned that a major trade show does not reward branding; it rewards a concrete solution to a concrete problem. That lesson changed how we sell: we stopped showing and started asking. Berlin proved that this lesson could become a method.

The question we brought to every conversation was simple. How many projects is your company letting go because it lacks delivery capacity?

The setting: GITEX Europe and data-driven preparation

GITEX Europe brings together software, cybersecurity, AI and digital services companies from around the world at Messe Berlin. For us, it is the gateway to the DACH region, where the developer shortage is holding back projects that have already been sold.

This time we did not arrive blind. Before travelling, we mapped the entire ecosystem of the show:

  • 616 exhibiting companies, with their sector, country and booth.

  • 622 participants in the B2B Room (b2match).

  • 746 companies in the mbmapp directory

    .

Each company went through a five-criteria fit model: sector, need for nearshore delivery, channel potential, geographic fit (prioritizing Europe and DACH) and fit with our services. The result was an agenda of 54 requested meeting slots and a route of 28 booth visits across halls 1.2, 2.2 and 4.2 on June 30 and July 1.

Our proposition: you close the project, we deliver it

In Berlin we spoke mainly with European integrators and consultancies, not only with end clients. They win projects they cannot always deliver. We offer them that capacity, under their brand or through co-delivery.

Our offer rested on four service lines:

  • AI-powered automation (n8n) to reduce repetitive operational work.

  • Custom software, with a focus on security and compliance.

  • Staff augmentation with senior engineers who work in English.

  • Cloud infrastructure to run what we build.

And three arguments we repeated at every booth: senior delivery at 40 to 60% below the cost of hiring in Europe, daily overlap with the European working day, and enterprise references in regulated sectors such as Equifax and Banco Cuscatlán.

Conversations that became opportunities

In two days we confirmed 9 scheduled meetings and recorded 75 B2B contacts. Of these, 8 became active opportunities: 6 warm and 2 in follow-up.

The confirmed meetings included companies from the United States, Serbia, Switzerland, Romania, India and Pakistan.

The most valuable finding was unexpected. Many companies we saw as competitors, especially from Eastern Europe and Asia, turned out to be natural allies: they need complementary capacity and a presence in another time zone.

What we learned and what it means for El Salvador

Berlin confirmed that El Salvador can compete in the European technology market, as long as it arrives prepared and with a specific proposition. We took away three lessons:

  1. Data-driven preparation multiplies your time at the show. Knowing in advance who to talk to turned two days into an agenda of qualified meetings, not random walks.

  2. The channel is worth more than the individual client. A European integrator with undelivered projects can open more doors than ten end clients.

  3. Collaboration beats competition. Companies from Serbia, Romania or India do not only compete with us; they can also add capacity with us.

For El Salvador, every conversation in Berlin is proof that the country can export talent and technology, not just products.

Berlin was not the destination; it was the next step

If MWC Barcelona was the starting point, GITEX Europe confirmed that the path works. We came back with alliances under discussion, potential partners on three continents and a prospecting method we can repeat.

Now it is time to turn those conversations into agreements: follow up on the 8 active opportunities, formalize the alliances, and take our co-delivery proposition to more integrators in the DACH region.

If your company needs more capacity to deliver software, automation or cloud projects, let's talk. Write to [email protected] and let's discuss your nearshore team.
